A Bit About Me
Hello I am Jessica Yue Che from China and currently based on Pasadena, California. I am an enthusiastic Industrial Designer currently pursuing my education at the esteemed ArtCenter College of Design. Guided by a design philosophy rooted in inclusivity and human-centric solutions, my goal is to not only enhance people's lives but also to capture and celebrate the inherent beauty in the world through my creations.
I really interested in medical devices and inclusive furniture, electronic devices and toys. By crafting designs with a thoughtful approach, I hope that I can create a way that everyone, regardless of their background, age, and health condition, can revel in the joy of these everyday essentials. Additionally, my enthusiasm extends to the realm of pet supplies. I am deeply passionate about enhancing the lives of our furry friends, and I bring that same commitment to inclusivity to my designs in this space. Empathizing with others and delving into new fields to design for their needs has been an enriching experience for me. Together, through innovative and inclusive design, we can create a world where every individual and every pet can fully enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER
Joyin | Rancho Cucamonga, California
I designed baby products and electronic toys from concept to prototype through sketching and 3D modeling, creating user-centered solutions that balance safety, aesthetics, functionality, cost efficiency, and manufacturability while collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.
SUSTAINABILITY DESIGNER
EVgo | El Segundo, California
I created a comprehensive material library featuring recycled and bio-based materials for EV charging products, researched sustainable CMF opportunities while balancing cost, durability, and manufacturability, and delivered eight actionable recommendations to support future product development and sustainability initiatives.
TRANSPORTATION (INTERIOR) & CMF DESIGNER

I researched, developed concepts, and refined designs to meet Volvo's standards, gaining hands-on experience in user-centered design and automotive interiors. I designed the initial concept, which was selected by my mentor and director, then refined it based on their feedback. I worked closely with modelers to prototype and render the final design.
